Program strategy · learning operations · analysis

Make sense of complexity. Build what works.

I analyze markets, roles, and systems to identify what needs to change and turn the findings into programs people can use. My work spans digital learning products, global enablement, assessments, and operational tools.

01 / Capabilities

Three things I bring to complex work

The same abilities have served product strategy, learning programs, and hospitality operations. The deliverable changes, but the underlying problem-solving does not.

01 / ANALYZE

Find the opportunity

Study competitors, audiences, performance data, and expert input to identify gaps that matter.

02 / STRUCTURE

Design the system

Turn requirements and constraints into a coherent framework, workflow, or program that can scale.

03 / DELIVER

Make it usable

Coordinate people and tools, establish quality standards, and translate specialized knowledge into action.

02 / Selected work

Evidence from real projects

Market and product strategy · McGraw-Hill Education

Finding opportunities in a crowded product market

Higher education publishers competed for adoption of digital courseware. Understanding both the product landscape and subject-area needs was essential to deciding where to invest.

What I examined
Competing digital platforms, product gaps, user feedback, and opportunities across Humanities and Social Sciences portfolios.
What I contributed
Competitive analysis and market development recommendations for the Connect platform, alongside strategy and development of commercially deployed learning products.
Why it matters
Market insight became a practical input to product decisions, content priorities, and the work of cross-functional teams.

Capability architecture · Salesforce through EvolvEd Global

Turning tacit expertise into a shared standard

Different sales and go-to-market roles needed a common way to describe skills and proficiency without flattening meaningful differences between roles and levels.

What I examined
Leader and subject-matter expert interviews, role requirements, performance expectations, and capability gaps for global teams.
What I built
A role- and level-based framework with skill taxonomies, proficiency definitions, and observable behavior indicators.
Why it matters
The framework created a structure for assessment and enablement that could be applied consistently as roles and needs evolved.

Program delivery · Strategic Education

Keeping complex learning changes coordinated

Course changes affected content, assessments, platform configuration, vendor tools, academic teams, and launch schedules at the same time.

What I examined
Requirements, affected course components, stakeholder dependencies, learner experience, and readiness risks.
What I managed
Concurrent initiatives from intake and design through production, QA, launch, and continuous improvement, with clear briefs and acceptance criteria for partners.
Why it matters
Connected decisions across teams help a program stay accurate, usable, and ready to release.

03 / Working method

A disciplined way to manage change

When one program serves different roles, products, or markets, I start with the work people must be able to do. Then I determine which parts can stay consistent and which need expert review and adaptation.

01 / DISCOVER

Define the need

Interview stakeholders, examine current materials and data, and name the performance problem.

02 / COMPARE

Map the differences

Separate common outcomes from differences in roles, processes, terminology, policy, and local context.

03 / BUILD

Coordinate the work

Translate decisions into a brief, ownership, dependencies, content, practice, assessment, and QA.

04 / IMPROVE

Check the evidence

Review quality, readiness, usage, feedback, and performance signals, then refine what is not working.

This is my working method, not a claim that I have deployed a country-specific program in every market.

04 / Additional depth

Range that strengthens the core work

The experience behind the method extends beyond instructional design.

Assessment and quality

At Western Governors University, I used psychometric and learning analytics to investigate item-, exam-, and program-level quality concerns, then worked with faculty, curriculum leaders, psychometricians, and vendors on improvements.

Operational and financial systems

As a former business owner, I used QuickBooks for invoicing, expense categorization, reconciliation, and reporting. I used Square for sales and transaction reporting. At Bengelina Hospitality Group, I translate manager needs into scheduling, onboarding, and operations workflows.

Learning tools include Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, Articulate 360, Area9, PlayPosit, Jira, Smartsheet, and Confluence.

05 / About

Curiosity with operational follow-through

I began in investment research and product management, moved into digital learning products and assessment, and now also work on hospitality systems. Across those fields, the thread is the same: learn the domain, see the whole system, bring the right people together, and build a practical answer.

My B.S. in Finance informs how I evaluate tradeoffs and evidence. Learning design gives me a disciplined way to make complex knowledge usable. Current independent research in Piemonte wine keeps me practicing both: learning from people doing the work and testing how regional knowledge can become useful education. Let's talk about the problem.

I’m interested in work that combines analysis, program strategy, and the discipline to deliver.
